Dallas Invisalign Dentist For Patients of All Ages

The Clear Choice For a Straight Smile

We understand that you want a straight smile but may not necessarily love the look of traditional metal braces. Now, you can get the results you want with Invisalign.

At Rio Dental & Orthodontics, we offer clear aligners for a more discrete orthodontic look. Instead of brackets and wires pulling your teeth into alignment, they are gradually moved into their ideal positions using a nearly invisible treatment.

What Are Invisalign Costs in Dallas?

Dallas Invisalign Dentist Invisalign offers added comfort and a more discrete look for around the same cost of braces. There are many different factors that can determine the total cost of treatment, including your current tooth alignment, any outstanding dental issues, and the number of aligners you’ll need.

Because Invisalign can help with dental and medical issues, dental insurance plans often cover a portion of the treatment. In your initial consultation, our team will provide an estimated total cost of the treatment so you can maximize the use of your insurance benefits. We also offer many payment options to cover the remaining balance.

Invisalign FAQs

Dallas Invisalign Invisalign has become wildly popular: more than 2.5 million individuals, including children, teens, and adults, have opted for this option to correct their bite and alignment issues.

We understand that you may have questions about the aligners since they are a newer treatment option. We’ve answered some of your most common questions so you can feel confident and secure in your choice. We are glad to answer any additional questions you may have over the phone or in-office at your consultation.

What Can Invisalign Help With?

Invisalign can correct many different bite and alignment problems, such as rotated, crooked, or tilted teeth. It can fix many different orthodontic issues, but there are some limitations, such as overly large gaps or more severe bite issues. During your consultation, your orthodontist will evaluate your needs and determine what treatment will be best for you.

How Long Do I Have to Wear the Aligners?

You should wear your aligners for at least 22 hours a day for them to be as effective as possible. Each aligner will be used for about 1-2 weeks depending on the specific regimen your orthodontist prescribes to you. In order for the treatment to be successful, you must wear them consistently and as much as your doctor tells you to.

Can I Eat What I Want?

Since you can remove the aligners, there are no restrictions on what you can and can’t eat. However, when you are wearing them, you should only have water. Anytime you eat or drink, you should rinse the aligners and brush your teeth before putting them back in. No more worrying about getting food stuck in the wires or damaging the brackets!

How Can They Be Cleaned?

Maintaining your oral hygiene with Invisalign is easier than ever. You don’t have to worry about cleaning around any brackets, wires, or hard-to-reach places. You still of course need to continue with brushing and flossing as usual, and clean your aligners each day. Use clear, antibacterial soap and a soft-bristled toothbrush to clean all of the aligner’s surfaces.

Make sure to never use hot water to clean it, as it could bend the plastic and change the aligner’s shape.

How Long Does Invisalign Treatment Take?

The duration of your treatment is determined by how many aligners are needed. On average, many patients are finished with their series in 12 months – a much faster treatment plan than braces! When your Invisalign treatment is over, you will get a custom-made retainer so your teeth don’t shift back and stay perfectly straight for life.

Are Clear Aligners Comfortable to Wear?

Invisalign clear aligners are made with smooth plastic that fits perfectly around each tooth to provide a comfortable wearing experience. It might take you a few days to adjust to it, but over time, you won’t even be able to tell you’re wearing them.

Can I Receive Invisalign After Traditional Orthodontics?

Yes! Many patients who have severe bite issues receive traditional braces, then switch to Invisalign for tooth alignment. This will cut down the amount of time you have traditional braces for so you can enjoy Invisalign for the rest of your orthodontic treatment.

What Our Patients Say

Patient Info

  • Your Child's First Visit
  • Baby's First Appointment
  • Appointment Scheduling
  • Insurance
  • Finances
  • CareCredit

You can play a part in preparing your child for his or her first visit to our office. Informing your child of the visit as an exciting experience for both of you can ease any hesitations. As a parent try to act relaxed, since your child may sense any anxiety on your part.

Explain to your child that the doctor will “count, brush, and maybe take pictures of their teeth”. We also ask that you assume the role of a silent observer. Cooperation and trust must be established directly between the doctor, staff, and your child and not through you. Your child may become confused if receiving instructions from multiple sources.

We recommend bringing your baby in for their first dental appointment by their first birthday, or within 6 months of their first tooth appearing (whichever comes first). During this appointment, we will examine your baby’s mouth to track their dental development and discuss age-appropriate dental care.

It’s easy to make appointments to visit our office online or over the phone. Rio Dental sees patients both for checkups and dental emergencies. Using our online scheduler, you can select the location and time slot that works best for you for either type of appointment. If you have any questions regarding our practice, or simply prefer to make your appointment with a live member of staff, please don’t hesitate to call!

Rio Dental Group accepts most PPO insurances. We recommend that new patients and returning patients with new insurance policies reach out to us before their appointment to confirm coverage. Our Fort Worth location also sees patients who are covered by Medicaid and CHIP programs.

We don’t like surprises, either! Our staff is prepared to discuss the cost of dental services before you undergo treatment so that you know what to expect in terms of fees. The cost of your services will be due at the end of your appointment. Our office accepts payment by cash, credit card, or check.

Rio Dental Group allows patients to pay with their CareCredit card. CareCredit is a healthcare credit card designed to cover out-of-pocket costs at over 225,000 providers nationwide. After leaving the office, card holders will be able to make convenient monthly payments towards their balance. To learn more, visit the CareCredit website.
